This dress has a lot going for it - nice thick velvet, good design on the upper bodice. I particularly liked how well-crafted it is over and under the arms - super comfortable and breezy with great freedom of movement but no awkward gaps. For me though, the slit didn't do it. The skirt is full and flowing so the slit is more for effect than functionality, and it reaches above the knee. I considered getting it sewn up, but overall the silhouette of the dress was not structured enough to flatter my petite frame so I ended up returning it. As always, Love Daphne provided great prompt service both with processing the dispatch and return :)
