Dandelion Fit and Flare Dress

I love my Peacock Greta dress so I decided to add Dandelion to my collection. It's so pretty! The dandelions look like fairy wands casting spells. The colours really pop in person. And it looks great with or without a bra! I have several hot pink jackets I can wear it with in the cooler weather or even a denim jacket would look good. I know this cotton is very resilient when washed and keeps the colour of the print.

Really disappointed on the quality of the garment and the sizing runs quite large.
I got a 1XL and normally wear a 2XL in Hell Bunny and it was still swimming on me.
Not to mention it was not at all flattering on my plus size figure; when I normally find dresses like this flatter me quite well.
Nothing to do with Love Daphne.

I really wanted to love this dress. I ordered this as a Birthday gift for myself and I was looking forward to loving it, I absolutely love the pattern and had been waiting months for a dress to come out in this pattern, since I saw it in the top. It arrived today and has left me so disappointed and feeing like I wasted my money. I really wish this had been shown on a plus size model before I purchased it. It has not got enough fabric in the skirt to make it a proper flare skirt, even if it were worn with a hoop/underskirt it would not flare properly as the width at the bottom of the skirt is not wide enough proportionately to the larger waist on a plus size.

It is more like a shift dress that just sits all kinds of wrong and I’ll have to do some serious altering to be able to wear it with any confidence. I ordered the biggest size as I have a much larger bottom half than top half so I am used to taking in the top and altering that, but even with those kind of alterations, the skirt is not going to sit in away that gives a flattering shape and proper flare.
Really disappointed that the plus size customer isn’t really considered when designing these dresses, yes it fits, but it doesn’t look good. I have dresses from other websites that aren’t even marketed as flare that have more fabric and create a lovely shape and make me feel great.

Just very, very disheartened and disappointed.
