Victoria's Story

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

And this year, we’re not softening the edges.

We’re sharing real stories.

Here is Victoria’s.

After months of chronic pain, trips to the hospital and GP, missed work and eventually moving back home to be closer to support, Victoria was given the diagnosis of IBS and told to “just learn to deal with it.”

Not satisfied with that answer — and still suffering pain and fatigue — she kept searching.

She had multiple ultrasounds.
MRIs.
A colonoscopy.
A gastroscopy.
Blood tests.

All “fine.”

And then came the words so many endo warriors know too well:

“Maybe it’s in your head.”

Literally — doctors suggested her pain could be linked to an old head injury. So she saw a neurologist to see if her pain receptors were misfiring.

More tests. More waiting. More doubt.

Eventually, when her regular GP was unexpectedly away, she saw another doctor, who suggested endometriosis and referred her to a gynaecologist.

It was the first time anyone had mentioned it.

What was meant to be an exploratory laparoscopy turned into removal of deep infiltrating endometriosis.

Her appendix had been wrapped in adhesions and stuck to her back.

Finally — answers.
Finally — pain relief.

She now has a medical team who listens and treats her properly. (Surgically: Dr Phillip Hall & non-surgically: Dr Andrew Orr)

Victoria’s message is simple:

“Do not settle for ‘just deal with it’ or ‘it’s in your head’. It is real. Your experience is valid.”

And as someone who lives with endometriosis myself… I can tell you how powerful those words are.

The flares.
The surgeries.
The heat pads.
The exhaustion of constantly advocating for yourself.

It’s real.

And no one should have to fight that hard just to be believed.

This March, we are sharing stories like Victoria’s because awareness saves years of suffering.

And we are opening pre-orders soon for our LD x Endo shirts — not as a fashion moment, but as a statement.

A statement that says:

💛 I believe you.
💛 I am with you.
💛 We deserve better.

Whether you are a warrior or an ally, this is for you.

Pre-orders will be opening soon for our exclusive Endo Warrior shirts.

To every endo warrior reading this — you are not dramatic. You are not weak. You are not imagining it.

You are navigating something real.

And we stand with you.

With love and strength,
Tracey x
